As one of the leading DMS solution suppliers, on June 06, 2019 DMSPro organized a workshop “Reaching Your Valued Customers with New Digital Distribution Strategy” introducing technology innovation to the management boards of Corporations, and Companies in manufacture and distribution industry.
Together with other prestigious partners, DMSPro updated the market trends for distribution sector in Vietnam, and then recommended the strategies for those companies wishing to develop and maximize their profits. The Workshop attracted the attention of 40 guests who are in senior management positions of leading local and overseas manufacturing and distribution companies.
One of the sections that enjoyed most popularity at the Workshop included the Panel Discussion in which Mr. Nguyen Thanh Huan – Country Director of TCP Vietnam and Mr. Pham Kim Kha – Chairman of Men’ Vodka shared the experience of implementing successfully the DMS solutions in their companies. Their shared objectives were managing the real-time sales indicators of their distribution system and salesmen’s compliance and operations. Both of them believe that, in order to ensure the successful implementation of DMS solutions, the suppliers need to understand thoroughly the FMCG’s selling operation activities, especially in General Trade – GT. Those functions operated and implemented on DMS also have to meet the requirements of the general standards in the market, especially the promotion and trade marketing models must be flexibly adaptive so that they can respond to the Corporations’ strategies.
When enquired about the prospects of distribution industry, both emphasized the role of maximizing the distribution operation mechanisms, especially of the market sales force. The corporations have more needs to communicate directly with the outlets and also more visibly. The trade marketing activities will be announced and performed in a more active manner to the outlets. The transactions between the outlets and Corporation will also be automated. Besides, the salesmen can have more time to take care of their customers. This department will be the representative of the corporation, instead of just focusing on selling activity. Moreover, the managers also mentioned the diverse roles in the distribution system which need to be managed, and hence facilitating the coverage capability of the whole distribution system.
With a comprehensive understanding of those needs, DMSPro has introduced new products which can be applied in the distribution industry.
