Siam cement Co., LTD or SCG is the largest cement company in Thailand and is issued on the stock exchange of Thailand. In 2011, SCG was ranked as the No.2 company in Thailand and No. 620 in the world by Forbes 2000.

Established under the royal decree of Vajiravudh King (Rama VI) in 1913. Since then, SCG has expanded business into 5 core segments: chemicals, paper, cement, construction material and distribution. Company is managed by Crown Property Bureau – owns 30% share of Siam Cement.

SCG includes more than 100 companies in 5 business groups. Using nearly 24.000 staffs and producing more than 64.000 kinds of products. Their products are sold domestically and exported to all regions ò the world. Most of companies in group are recognized by ISO 9002 certificate for quality management and ISO 14001 for environment management, TIS 18001 for the protection of health and safety. SCG is often a leader in its field and has also received numerous awards in national and international in many different fields.

On 2013.02.26, the company has announced that they are planning to build a new cement company and also looking to buy related companies in the region. In the same statement, the company announced its total asset in Indonesia was $983 million.
